BurnFatAtHome Affiliate Hoplink Instructions

After you have signed up at ClickBank for your free affiliate account (click on ClickBank Signup Instructions on the left if you have not signed up yet), you are ready to start marketing and promoting BurnFatAtHome.

Through ClickBank, marketing BurnFatAtHome is easy! Simply put special links on your web pages or in your blogs or newsletters to send people to the BurnFatAtHome.com website.

These links are called ClickBank hoplinks, and they automatically keep track of the traffic you send to BurnFatAtHome.com, and give you credit for the sales that you generate.

So now you need to set up your hoplink. Here's how:

The current standard ClickBank hoplink format is http://xxxxxx.vendor.hop.clickbank.net.

For BurnFatAtHome, that would look like this http://xxxxxx.jforsberg.hop.clickbank.net. (jforsberg is the name I use for the BurnFatAtHome program).

In place of the xxxx's you would put your ClickBank affiliate nickname. So, if your nickname was Jonas, it would be http://jonas.jforsberg.hop.clickbank.net. (Note: Make sure you use YOUR nickname- this is just an example.)

That's all there is to it!

So now when someone clicks on your hoplink, they will be redirected to www.burnfatathome.com. A "cookie" (small tracking file) will be dropped onto the computer of the visitor so that ClickBank remembers that the visitor came from your referral.

ClickBank used 60-day cookies. This means that if a visitor makes a purchase within 60 days of their initial click on your link, commission for that sale will go to you.

We currently pay 75% commission on the net sale, which comes to about $26.00 for the Basic Package, and ss soon as the Deluxe Package is up, it will result in $72.75 for each sale of the Deluxe Package that you send through your affiliate link.

One last suggestion- if you are using hoplinks on a web page, it is best to use a display URL of www.BurnFatAtHome.com, rather than showing the actual ClickBank hoplink.

Studies have shown that when people think someone is being paid a commission to sell them something (as opposed to thinking they are get a recommendation from a neutral third party), they are less inclined to buy.

Therefore, conversion rates may drop unless you hide your affiliate hoplink in your HTML code and use www.BurnFatAtHome.com as the display link.
